The Old World

This series of prints were made on old photographic paper that was found in someones basement. It had probably been there 30 or 40 years. Initially I kept it simply to practice my darkroom skills, but after making a couple of prints I realized just how spectacular it could look. Printing with it is something of a nightmare, it is inconsistent and temperamental, but when it comes out…it really comes out.
